A premier contract manufacturing company specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) in Hillsboro, Oregon is searching for a top level sales executive to join their team as the company President. In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing a new client base and generating new sales revenue to meet the company’s sales goals set forth by the Board. You will work with the sales staff to provide strategic leadership and oversight but in this role, your focus will be largely devoted to establishing and maintaining new and existing client relationships.

Duties Include:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing customers
  • Negotiate and close sales
  • Work with the sales team to establish new relationships and develop new sales
  • Conduct regular client visits
  • Establish sales projections
  • Provide support, training and management to the Sales department
  • Compile prospective customer list and follow up on all generated sales leads.
  • Conduct regular client visits
  • Collaborate with all departments to develop efficient processes
  • Liaise with the customer and production and provide assistance as requested during negotiations and production process.
  • Assess the Company’s capabilities to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare new sales projections and report anticipated sales to the Board

Qualifications:

  • 15 years’ experience in electronic component and manufacturing company.
  • 5-10 years experience in outside sales/field sales with proven track record of increased sales
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000, ERP, and CRM Systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must comply with standards set by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and be free from federal warrants and must not be on any Federal watch list.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and utilize other Company software.
